Entering therapy can be an important step toward making positive changes in your life. I will work collaboratively with you to help you make changes, to increase your understanding of the particular challenges you face, to more fully appreciate your strengths and resilience, and to increase your capacity to manage distressing things that are beyond your own control.
I work with adolescents, adults, and couples. Some of the reasons people have sought therapy with me include (but are not limited to) relationship problems, depression, anxiety, life transitions, school and work difficulties, parenting, coming out, health concerns, loss, trauma, and low self-esteem.
Whatever your reasons for seeking therapy, one of the most important factors is finding a good, comfortable fit between you and your therapist. In my work, I emphasize safety, respect, honesty, and curiosity. These are essential values that facilitate a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship.
